Routine Maintenance Of Respiratory Masks

(1) The mask should be placed in a dry and ventilated place when not in use.
(2) After use, it can be cleaned with a mild detergent.
(3) The position where the mask fits the skin is basically made of silica gel, which is air-permeable and impervious to water. After a long-term fit with the skin, it will absorb the oil in the skin, making the white silica gel slowly turn yellow, and not only emits an unpleasant smell , It is also easy to breed bacteria, so the mask should be cleaned every 2-3 days of use.
(4) When cleaning the mask, it is recommended to use a special mask cleaning solution or neutral detergent, and 84 disinfectant or other acid-base detergents are prohibited to prevent damage to the mask.
(5) It is also not recommended to wipe the silicone part of the mask with alcohol for a long time, because alcohol is irritating, and although it has a bactericidal effect, it cannot clean the mask well.
(6) The mask is a consumable item in the ventilator. The silicone part will naturally age. After the silicone is aged, it will harden and cause the mask to leak easily. It is generally recommended to replace the breathing mask every 3-6 months.
